Sacmi: summer work experience gets under way

From 20th June to the end of July eighteen 4th year secondary school students will get valuable work experience at the cooperative.

Eighteen students, all attending their 4th year of secondary school in or near Imola: thanks to special scholarship programs that focus on alternation of study and work, they will be getting six weeks’ experience at the cooperative as of 20th June.
Coming from a variety of schools that focus on the linguistic, scientific-technological, technical-industrial, vocational and even ceramic art, they will receive a weekly indemnity and, for more than a month, assist Sacmi’s regular employees. The initiative - which takes place every summer - is an extension of the work experience offered to students of high schools and university students all year round. This year Sacmi took on 21 high school students and 11 undergraduates so that they might complete a specific module or thesis. Sacmi also offers new graduates 6-month work experience programs.
