At CERAMITEC 2009, from 20th to 23rd October, in hall B6, the Sacmi Group will be showcasing the latest technological developments, optimized processes and energy-efficient solutions in several ceramic sectors.
The Sacmi Group’s experts will be at the stand to illustrate all the latest energy-saving solutions (H.E.R.O. -High Efficiency Resource Optimizer, innovative technologies for achieving the greatest possible resource savings at every stage of the production process.) and the very latest technology for everything in ceramics - from sanitaryware and tableware to refractories, heavy clay, advanced ceramics and powder metallurgy.
Riedhammer, is presenting a new “Flatbed” tunnel kiln concept for technical ceramic applications, as well as a new de-bindering firing process with innovative “LOW O2” atmosphere regulation and sintering in a single firing system.
Visitors and customers interested in fine ceramics will have a great opportunity to get a close look at the new Smart Porcelain: a jointly developed technique for producing low-sintering porcelain in a single firing, presented by Sacmi Group and Imerys.
SAMA will show a new isostatic press for tableware that is a further development of the well established isostatic presses of the LPP-1-38 and LPP-2-38 series, of which more than 100 are now in operation.
The technological challenge continues with ROF versus OFM 8, two different ways of processing tableware by Rim Fettling.
Moving to the field of refractories industry, visitors and customers will have the opportunity to see the LAEIS’ newly developed high performance hydraulic press, the fourth-generation HPF presses with a 1000-ton pressing force.
MPH 200, the new hydraulic press for powder metallurgy will be presented by the recently acquired Matrix on the stand: thanks to the control system, it is able to ensure the forming of morphologically complex pieces and, of course, maintain the high quality standard the markets demands.
Last but not least, the presence of Sacmi in the heavy clay sector has increased over recent years. Experience has been enhanced thanks to the development of several complete-cycle plant engineering solutions, and today the company is just the right partner what ever the technological requirements: from bricks and pavers to masonry blocks and roof tiles, from ventilated façade slabs to extruded tiles.
