Sacmi Heavy Clay presents itself to Iranian investors

A special open day on 17th May 2016 in Esfahan to present all the potential and advantages of Sacmi’s product range for the heavy clay industry

From high-efficiency tunnel kilns to new flat extrusion technology and advanced, automated handling systems; these are just some of the solutions provided by Sacmi’s Heavy Clay Division which will be presented at a special open day in Esfahan, in Iran, on 17th May 2016 (Hotel Abbasi, Amadegah St., 10.30 a.m.).

Keen to intercept the “new path” being taken by the Iranian economy thanks to the recent lifting of international sanctions and the high demand for foreign investment in all sectors of the economy, Sacmi Heavy Clay will soon be flying to Esfahan, the very heart of the industrial district in which there is a strong focus on heavy clay manufacturing. Here, we’ll present potential investors with a comprehensive overview of the Division, especially as regards the innovative plant engineering solutions that could provide local industry with the key to modernisation and expansion of the construction industry.

With the advantage of many years’ experience on the Iranian market, especially in the ceramic technology sector, the Sacmi Group aspires, with this event – to which all the local industry’s major businesses and producers have been invited – to reinforce its presence in the area. The importance of this event is also highlighted by the fact that it will be attended by functionaries and representatives of the Iranian Ministry of Industry and Mining and researchers and professors from the Technical University of Teheran.

The advantages of the solutions proposed by Sacmi Heavy Clay include high levels of automation, lower labour costs and energy and emissions savings: these pivotal aspects are the result of decades of investment and know-how in both kiln development (Sacmi Forni) and in handling and process automation (Cosmec), making the Sacmi Group a key international player in the heavy clay sector and a natural ally for the development of the Iranian construction industry.
