Sacmi Istanbul puts down roots in Bursa

New production facility to be inaugurated on 6th December

Machines and plants for sanitaryware, structural frameworks, mechanical parts, components: this is the “core business” of the new Sacmi Istanbul production facility, named “Sacmi Bursa” after the Turkish town that hosts the plant.

This coming 6th December an official inauguration ceremony will be held at Bursa - in the plant itself, located in the industrial zone - in the presence of management representatives and the Sacmi Imola Board of Directors. Also present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony will be functionaries of Group companies already working with Sacmi Istanbul plus delegations representing the major Turkish customers.

This is an important achievement for the Sacmi Group, which, in terms of both the number of machines installed and the businesses carried out through Sacmi Istanbul, has for some time enjoyed a strong presence in Turkey - a country that looks set to become one of the world’s major tile and sanitaryware manufacturers.
