Sacmi Russia goes on-line in Cyrillic

Sacmi becomes the only Italian ceramics company with a website available in Russian

Sacmi is the first Italian company within the ceramics sector to have produced a website in Russian. The portal is now available in a Cyrillic version, in addition to English, and can be found at The internet is an increasingly important part of Sacmi’s sales strategies in Russia. During the month of February alone, Volgogradskij Keramikeskij Zavod, a Russian company based in Volgograd and a Sacmi customer, made two spare parts orders on-line. “The customer was impressed by this system and found it to be an extremely useful way to work – Iacopo Bianconcini, Vice Sales Manager of Sacmi’s Ceramics Division in Moscow, tells us – the Russian market, in general, is beginning to see the internet as the way forward and is investing in adapting its technology and setting up dedicated lines for connection to the web.  The fact that we are the only company in our field offering high-tech services is helping us win advantages on the market”. The new version of the website represents an additional service offered by the Sacmi Group in its market area.
