Sacmi Verona: objective China

Excellent attendance at the Open House organised in October at Sacmi Nanhai

On 18th October Sacmi Nanhai - both the Chinese base for the Group and the reference point for the entire area – was the venue for an important event organised by Sacmi Verona. This ‘Open House’ event, organised by the Sacmi Group company that specialises in the labelling business, was attended by major players in the bottling industry – and, more generally, the entire beverage industry – who are particularly active on the Chinese market.

Satisfaction levels among the participants were high, with everyone being able to attend a series of workshops during which Sacmi Verona illustrated the benefits of its extensive product range. This illustration began with the undisputed star of the show, the OPERA RFST series, which features the innovative roll fed sleeve technology that allows heat-shrink labels to be applied directly from the film roll. Key figures attending the Open House included engineers, general managers, plant managers and, above all, project managers: as the event came to a close at the end of the day, there was also a highly productive session aimed at gathering together practical ideas and tips for further marketing operations in China.

“They’re purchasing a new machine…”. “They’re purchasing four machines after completion of the plant”, “…huge interest in the modular labelling machines”. These were just some of the comments made by the stakeholders. And Sacmi Verona is now at work to provide the global market, already in 2012, with a further-improved range of labellers for an even more flexible, higher-performance and cleaner labelling process.
