To complete its new sanitaryware production line at Kirovskaya Keramika 1853, Sacmi commissions the new tunnel kiln manufactured by Riedhammer, the Group company based in Nuremberg.
The Sacmi/Riedhammer supply includes a TWS tunnel kiln (69m long with 2.700 mm useful loading width) as well as a 6m long pre-heating dryer which was partially manufactured locally by Kirovskaya.
The success of this project strengthens Sacmi’s relationship with Kiroskaya Keramika - a truly reliable partner also for joint collaborations to construct parts on site.
The production capacity of the kiln, estimated at operating speed, is equal to 1.650 pieces per day with a cycle time of 15 hours.
The supply was carefully worked out in all its details on the basis of the special requests of
Kirovskaya which has always focused on quality as the hallmark of its final product.
Entirely built at Sacmi Riedhammer’s plant in Europe, the kiln is made largely out of stainless steel and high temperature European refractories to guarantee reliability and resistance over time.
Kiln car loading is performed by the operators directly from the Gaiotto conveyor which automatically brings the pieces that have just been glazed up to the loading zone. In this way there is no need for any intermediate storage of glazed pieces thus eliminating the two manual operations of loading and unloading of the storage trolleys.
In the Russian market, Kirovslaya Keramika’s products are renowned at the highest levels for their superior characteristics, functionality and quality.
