Sacmi gives Special Pressings a boost

New fields of application in the Group’s future. Refractory and cookware segments strengthened

The Sacmi business unit dedicated to Special Pressings is now opening up towards new fields of application. While, on the one hand, hydraulic pressings look to the future, on the other the Refractories department is steadily consolidating its market position by improving pre and post-sales customer services even further. Moreover, the Cookware department is extending its scope to both process and plant by making use of existing synergies and the know-how acquired through years of experience and cooperation with the Group’s Ceramics&Tiles Division.
To achieve these goals, management of the “Special Pressings” business unit has been entrusted to Matteo Federici. Pier Aldo Masotti maintains his position as head of Refractory sales, while Gianluca Alberti will continue as Cookware and Refractory Area Manager.
