Sacmi spare parts: internet purchases keep on rising

Use of E-services becoming more and more common, price info service booming

On-line spare parts purchasing and catalogue consultation are expanding fast. With customers aware that e-services save them time and money, they are becoming ever-more popular.
Customers are increasingly making their purchases on the web, especially in the Closures&Pet division. The first few months of the year saw a considerable increase in the scope of system functions and the number of on-line transactions. In March web-based ordering soared by 43.8% with respect to the preceding month, while utilisation of stock availability and price info services rocketed by 413.7%! Equally satisfying was the level of interest expressed by new customers for web-based spare parts ordering: the number of registrations (i.e. requests for username and password to gain access to the system) has increased significantly.
