Sacmi to showcase innovation in China

Everything now ready for Ceramics China 2013

The 2013 edition of Ceramics China - the Chinese fair dedicated to ceramic being held from 29th May to 1st June at Guangzhou – is now just around the corner. The event will be hosting a good-sized group of Italian companies, all ready to display their technological excellence. Among them, of course, will be Sacmi, which will be illustrating its innovative range of digital decoration solutions.

Sacmi’s extensive 430 m2 exhibition area Hall 6.1, stand F209 will be displaying a dryer/digital printer mini-line that, thanks to stabilisation of the unfired tile between dryer and printer, provides the advantage of enhanced printing performance. More specifically, the multi-channel horizontal drier is equipped with technical solutions that ensure uniformity of products dried under different working conditions. Downstream from the dryer lies the innovative Colora HD Black 706 digital decorator, a machine with numerous distinctive features: a new air-conditioned printing area with dual extraction hood system, a heated printing surface with removable colour bars to make cleaning and maintenance tasks easier and FLOW-FILL ink distribution devices (exclusively patented by IN.TE.SA). Printing parameter control software has also been upgraded.

The Sacmi Group will also be taking an active part is several conferences at the fair. Firstly, there will be a talk by Intesa at the ‘Digital Decoration’ technological seminar organised by Acimac/ICE; this will take place from 3.00 to 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday 29th May inside the Exhibition Centre. Intesa, the Sacmi subsidiary specialising in digital decoration, will also organise a conference titled ‘Introduction to Intesa’s digital technology’, to be held on Thursday 30th May from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at the Pazhou Exhibition Hall, Zone A, Baiyun Room (registration at the Sacmi stand). Lastly, again on 30th May, at 1.30 p.m., Sacmi will participate in a conference on the use of Syneco oil on Sacmi presses.

Daily visits to the Sacmi Nanhai production plants have also been arranged; these will depart at 1 p.m. from the Sacmi stand. Visitors will have the opportunity to get a first-hand look at the PHC4300 and PH6500 presses and a new module for the KCI XXL 3850 kiln, an “extra large” 3,850 mm wide machine capable of processing a considerably greater number of tiles than currently available kilns of the same length. The perfect kiln, then, for large tile production.
