Sama cuts the ribbon at Weissenstadt

Inauguration attended by key figures from business, politics and Sacmi Group representatives

Sama, the leading international supplier of ceramic plants and machines for the tableware industry, opens a new 1800 m2 machine assembly plant and a new 2-storey 450 m2 office building. This expansion will allow SAMA to concentrate its activities at the Weissenstadt site, not far from Nuremberg. The official inauguration of the new facilities took place on 27th March.

In addition to Sama’s management and representatives from the “parent company” – this German company is part of the Sacmi Group – numerous key figures from local politics and the German, Polish and Czech sanitaryware industries also attended the cutting of the ribbon. The official ceremony was opened with a speech by Sama’s general manager, Günther Söthje.

Söthje thanked Sacmi for its continuous support and close collaboration, while Sama’s sales manager, Gerhard Seitz, personally guided visitors around the new plant and offices. Also present were several of Sama’s customers, specially invited to take a first-hand look at the new machines installed in the plant. Sama’s staff also took the opportunity to illustrate, via an interesting presentation, the 10-year-plus history of the company and the reasons behind its success – a success based on innovation and the skill and experience of its highly qualified personnel.
