Sanikey conquers the market with quality and design

Sacmi completes large-scale order for Istanbul plant in just 4 months

A new protagonist - Sanikey - has appeared on the quality sanitaryware production scene. Just recently their Turkey-based production plant was successfully started up: completed in Istanbul in record time – just four months – it has an output capacity of 200,000 pieces a year, both in vitreous and fireclay.

The jewel in the crown of the product range is the large washbasin top: to make these Sanikey uses various high pressure casting machines, all supplied by Sacmi. Employed machines range from the ALS 150, for washbasins, to the AVML 150, for WC production. Drying too is carried out using Sacmi-made machines – in this case shuttle dryers – while firing is carried out using a Riedhammer shuttle kiln.

Sanikey’s goal is to achieve excellence through quality. Hence the decision to install, in the very near future, a new glazing robot by Gaiotto Automation, a Sacmi Group company. This outstanding attentiveness to quality and design means that Sanikey is already doing business with Europe’s major firms.
