Sanindusa expands with Sacmi

A new high-pressure casting cell for the production of pedestals is started up.

As part of an expansion program for its factory at Aveiro in Portugal, Sanindusa has recently started up a new casting cell for the manufacture of pedestals made up of 2 single-mould ADM160 casting machines complete with robotized demoulding and finishing.

The 2 casting units are equipped with the quick mould change-over system presented at Tecnargilla 2008. This  system ensures complete mould change-over can be performed in just 15 minutes.

Each module houses 3-cavity moulds for pedestals which can be of different types.

With this new installation, Sanindusa – always at the forefront when applying advanced systems for the production of sanitaryware articles  - has further strengthened its long-standing collaboration with the SACMI Group.
