Sanitec, Slavuta plant, new shuttle kiln tested

A new high-pressure integrated casting centre for the production of pedestals.

In August, a new Sacmi-made shuttle kiln was tested in Ukraine at the Slavutskiy Budfarfor plant, belonging to the Sanitec Group.

This HWS model kiln, produced by Sacmi Group company Riedhammer, consists of 9 cars with an effective width of 5 metres and a height of 2.1 m.

Having an effective load capacity of 1100 pieces/cycle, this kiln will be used for both first and second fires, while the expansion project is being completed.

The plant, which includes a 147 metre-long tunnel kiln produced by Sacmi/Riedhammer, will allow, once at full operating capacity, an additional daily output of 4200 pieces.

In what is a difficult moment for the world economy, the Sanitec Group is, in completing this key investment in Ukraine, sending the market a clear message in a strategic country, the aim being to cover both internal demand and make the most of the opportunities being generated in what is a fast-growing area.
