Somocer (Tunisia)

The first PH 4600 press is sold in Africa

Following the successful launch of its first production line for technical and glazed granito ceramic in the year 2000, Somocer has decided to double its output capacity as it is now clearly insufficient to cope with fast-rising market demand. Over the coming winter additional SACMI-produced machines will be sent to Tunisia; among these here will be a PH 4600 press (the first to go to Africa) and an FMP2230 kiln. ACD filler boxes will also be employed so as to develop more refined aesthetics for the French market. These new investments will bring Somocer’s output capacity up to 20,000 m²/day (granito and double-firing). All its products are manufactured with Sacmi machinery.
