Expansion of Dae Bo

Dae Bo, a leading South Korean ceramic tile manufacturer, has recently finalised an order with SACMI for a forthcoming expansion project. The order includes a complete production line with forecast output levels of about 8000 m²/day of biscuit tile. The equipment will be installed at the Guesan plant, already extended last year with the construction of new buildings: it is now the company’s main production site. Driven by steadily growing tile demand on the Korean market, Dae Bo has expanded steadily, but this is the first time that Dae Bo has chosen to rely on a single supplier. This change of policy has come about because Dae Bo needs to complete the project as quickly and reliably as possible so as to be sure of grasping the opportunities offered by the currently favourable market scenario.
