TRL and Sacmi: a tried and tested partnership

Agreement signed for supply of third refractory press in China

The China-based plant owned by Tata Refractories Ltd, one of the biggest refractory producers in India and among the world’s largest, is now entering the third phase of its expansion programme.

Once again, the mutually rewarding relationship between the Indian giant and Sacmi is thus reinforced yet again, bringing the number of presses installed in the various TRL plants to 11.

In keeping with Tata’s need to provide its customers with a high quality product while optimising its production processes, the company once again decided to go with Sacmi and purchase a PHR 1600 proportional-hydraulics press, equipped with cutting-edge auto-control and self-diagnosis devices so as to ensure complete reliability in terms of precision and operational continuity.

That operational continuity is also reinforced by enhanced, intensified locally available after-sales services, provided by specialised technicians and Sacmi Group facilities throughout the Far East and India.
