Sacmi will be at Interpack to present the very latest integrated solutions for blowing, filling and labelling.

Starting in the year 2000, the market focused no longer mainly or only on individual machines but, rather, on the development of integrated ‘turnkey’ solutions that span from raw materials to the finished product.

It is in this direction of integrated processes, with a particular attention to the product design, that Sacmi developed its solutions that will be on show on stand 8AE03 - Hall 8A at the coming edition of Interpack, to be held in Düsseldorf from 12th to 18th May 2011.

Visitors will be able to look at the labellers of the series: Modular Labeling Machines (MODUL) are the most  effective response to the request for flexibility in labeling  using combined technologies

Then, on show at the stand are Sacmi’s filling machines, featuring exclusive patented SOLO-MAS technology that allows the dozens of filler valves to be managed via a single flow meter controlling a master valve. The quantity of bottled liquid is thus controlled by just one flow meter, which calculates the required time and recalculates at every cycle, thus ensuring machine management savings.

Double cavity, double speed: this, then, is the distinguishing feature of the SBF blowers, acronym for Stretch Blow Forming, Sacmi-developed technology allowing two bottles (of 1 litre or less) to be produced at a time, with proportional productivity gains.

A ‘turnkey’ package, the one proposed by Sacmi,  that comes complete with automated finished product control and handling systems, from palletizers with laser-guided vehicles (LGV).

Bottle production and filling solutions are integrated with cap production technology, where Sacmi leads the way with the CCM (Continuous Compression Moulding) series. The latest technological gem, to be exhibited at Interpack is the CCM48SB compression molding machine. It has been optimised through ‘lean technology’, thanks to which the already excellent performance of the previous CCM series has been boosted considerably; this latest model also improves energy-consuming performance, which is as much an achievement as the cap production cycle times of less than 2 seconds.
