The Beverage industry meets up at Iran Food & Bev Tec

Sacmi heads for key Teheran-based fair

IRAN FOOD & BEV TEC 2011 will take place in Teheran from 6th to 9th June. This four-day event, set to host the industry’s key players, will be held in this splendid city’s International Exhibition Center. Needless to say, it will be showcasing solutions for the food, beverage and packaging sectors. A not-to-be missed occasion, then, for companies looking to raise productivity through the use of newly available technology.

Flying to Teheran to take part in the event will be sales staff from Sacmi and Sacmi Beverage; visitors heading for the Sacmi exhibition area (hall 38, stand 38.2), covering over 70 m2, will be able to get a close look at a complete line with a CCM32M producing 28 mm caps for fizzy drinks.

Sacmi has been investing successfully in the beverage and packaging sector for some years now, extending its know-how and asserting itself through advanced technology that stems from constant R&D. Today, in fact, SACMI Beverage has grown to become an industry cornerstone by becoming a reliable provider-partner to major companies – from the first stage in the production process to the last. SACMI Beverage has already, at previous fairs in Dusseldorf and Munich, presented complete production lines that span from the production of PET pre-forms to stretch-blow moulding, filling, labelling and final palletization.

The reference sector is mineral water, beer, fruit juices, soft-drinks and dairy products. SACMI’s strategy has focussed on ensuring that machines are technologically innovative and on providing an efficient service and assistance system via a worldwide network of branches.

Integrated product and plant engineering are, then, distinctive Sacmi traits that make the company stand out with respect to firms that only offer the market single plant engineering solutions or stand-alone machines. This approach is highlighted, for example, by the integration of bottle production and filling solutions with cap-making technology, an area that Sacmi dominates with the CCM (Continuous Compression Moulding) series: SACMI’s technological gem, the CCM48, can produce caps with ultra-short cycle times of under 2 seconds!
