The Matrix story continues in Imola

Anzola-based company integrated into Sacmi’s parent company to boost development of MPH presses

The year 2010 poses a number of challenges to international industry, challenges that need to be overcome if companies want to maintain or improve their position on turbulent and uncertain markets.

Matrix, a company based in Anzola that was taken over by the Sacmi Group in 2008 with the precise aim of allowing SacmiI to build highly advanced hydraulic systems for the pressing of complex-geometry items in metallic and ceramic powder, has efficiently proved its potential.
The company’s vast experience – spanning more than 20 years – provided the keystone that allowed the construction of an ambitious, long-term industrial project for the development of a comprehensive, technically sophisticated range (MPH series) that is showing itself to be extremely palatable to top-flight international partners, attracted by the up-to-date technology and the solidity of the SACMI Group, which ensures reliability and a long-term market presence.
Matrix’s technical principles have been translated into a highly evolved, carefully structured design/industrial language that ensures the highest standards in terms of materials, processes and after-sales services – not to mention a worldwide assistance network.

With integration complete, strategic plans now require consolidation: this will be achieved through the establishment of a streamlined, efficient organisational set-up that is able to minimise market response times and tight teamwork with the Imola production facilities.
The takeover of Matrix has thus been followed by natural, planned completion in the form of a transfer of all tasks that had so far been partially carried out at Anzola to the Imola Head Office. As of 1st January 2010 all Matrix S.r.l. activities and obligations have been taken over by Sacmi Imola S.C.
Particular attention has been paid to Matrix’s personnel, who constitute a massive store of experience; they have been provided with new opportunities in Sacmi Imola.
The gauntlet has been thrown down and the battle will be long - but the team is now complete and looking more fighting-fit all the time!
