The advantages of continuous grinding

Indian company, Cumi, chooses innovative Sacmi mill for its growing business

Carborundum Universal Limited, (CUMI) Industrial Ceramics division, part of USD 2 Billion Murugappa group is situated in Hosur, near Bangalore, India.  The company has been a pioneer in producing wide varieties of industrial ceramic products.  It has state of the art manufacturing facility for producing advanced alumina ceramic products.   

CUMI has recently expanded the wear resistance tiles making capacity with additional 300 Tons per month manufacturing capacity.  For this facility CUMI has purchased Continuous ball mill & spray drier from SACMI, Italy.

SACMI and CUMI have worked together to develop the most modern continuous milling technology for advanced ceramic applications. The continuous ball mill is fully automatic in which the infeed & outlet can be changed depending upon the requirement.  The output of the ball mill offers a consistent particle output compared to conventional batch milling.
