The best Italian Heavy Clay technology heads for Russia

From kilns and driers to process automation solutions: all the latest products in the Sacmi range to be showcased at Ceramatech in Moscow from 27th to 31st January 2015

Sacmi Heavy Clay is flying to Moscow-held Ceramatech, a key Russian trade fair event dedicated to ceramic and heavy clay technologies. A starring role on the Sacmi stand (C20, Hall 7, Expocenter trade fair district in Moscow) will be played by the range of machines for the heavy clay industry, a sector in which the Group has continued to maintain high levels of investment by focussing on technological innovation, strengthening its positioning on the more dynamic markets such as Russia where several projects of significant size and quality are in the pipeline.

More specifically, Sacmi will take full advantage of Ceramatech to illustrate the most important new developments of 2014 to both existing and potential customers; one such development was the takeover of Cosmec, specialised in the manufacture of machines and the design of automated heavy clay handling solutions: the company is decidedly international and already on the Russian market with its own range of process automation solutions.

The Ceramatech fair also offers a good opportunity to take stock of key projects already launched in Russia (for example, the Krasna Gvardia site, a major “turnkey” plant, is progressing apace). Sacmi stand will also be hosting representatives from Bongioanni Macchine, a firm with expertise in body preparation and extrusion that has already partnered Sacmi on numerous international Heavy Clay plant projects. The shared goal: to reinforce their presence on the key Russian market.
