Tramontina chooses Sacmi

New order for the Brazilian cookware specialist to be shipped at the end of 2013.

At the end of the year a brand new SACMI-built PHP 5000 hydraulic press will be shipped to  Brazil
Tramontina, a company that dates back over 100 years, is now present in over 120 countries worldwide. It has a long tradition of providing customers with outstanding quality and engaging in continuous product and process innovation, aspects that have made it a prominent international player in the industry.

Since 2012 the 5000-ton SACMI PHP press, the second generation of the machine unanimously acknowledged as the industry benchmark, has been featuring a new design allowing the utilisation of larger moulds, reducing mechanical strain on the pressing surfaces.
SACMI’s uniformly pre-loaded alloyed frame has always provided outstanding rigidity, ensuring the best possible geometric homogeneity for moulding and drawing. This distinctive technology is indisputably advantageous compared to competitors’ solutions.

This latest machine combines Sacmi’s continuous innovation, achieved through an attentive exchange of ideas with customers, with the elements of excellence that have always made Sacmi presses perfect for deep, precision drawing and ensured mould changeover flexibility, user-friendliness and long-lasting reliability.

Elements that Tramontina will now be able to turn to its advantage and which perfectly match the company’s own focus on ever-greater quality and efficiency.
