Turkish plant Ege Seramik thinks big

Considerably enhanced quality thanks to two new Sacmi palletizing units

Sacmi and the Ege Seramik Company: this year the partnership with the giant of Turkish ceramics is going from strength to strength. Ege’s undisputed reputation as the country’s leading tile and sanitaryware producer is now stronger than ever thanks to new Sacmi-supplied machines: the two palletizing units recently assembled and started up in this long-standing Turkish company, based in the Izmir region.

These palletising units complete two already-operative sorting lines - one of which is Sacmi-built - that have now been modified so the line can also produce large-size glazed porcelain tiles. The 600x600 size, in fact, is one in which Ege has invested heavily, as has been clearly demonstrated at the recent trade fairs.

And so the partnerships continues, its focus being the installation of ever-higher performance machines that can also minimise managerial costs: qualities that have convinced Ege Seramik to entrust its most important production investments to the Sacmi Group yet again.
