Ukraine, new Zeus Ceramica plant inaugurated

Sacmi supplies presses, driers, kilns and sorting line to a new company founded by Emilceramica and Yug

As general contractor and main supplier of the presses, driers, kilns and sorting line, Sacmi just had to attend the inauguration of the Zeus Ceramica plant at Slavjansk in Ukraine. This plant, with a daily output of 6500 square metres of technical porcelain tiles per day, is the result of a joint venture between Fiorano-based Emilceramica and the Ukraine-based Yug. The new plant also allows for future installation of a porcelain tile glazing line and doubling of the capacity of the existing one.
Representing Sacmi at the inauguration were the Sacmi Imola General Manager Eugenio Emiliani and Sacmi Moscow General Manager Michele Pulpito. Other persons present included the mayor of Fiorano Modenese, Claudio Pistoni, the mayor of Slavjansk, Anatoly Levit, the majority shareholder, Yug Viktor Levit, and the former President of Assopiastrelle and Emilceramica’s managing director, Sergio Sassi.
