Wade, single-layer roller kiln for bottles

Quality earthenware recipients for special distillates and luxury packaging

Wade has chosen a single-layer TKA207 roller kiln for the biscuit firing of earthenware bottles. Produced at Stoke on Trent (United Kingdom), these superb bottles are intended for the top end of the market where product quality and reliability are a must. These bottles are mainly used as recipients for special distillates, in luxury packaging aimed at connoisseurs or as gift articles.
The new kiln cycle is faster than that previously used by Wade. The goal, in fact, was to boost output capacity over the same area of floor space while reducing fuel consumption. Attentive plant engineering has significantly reduced kiln loading/unloading manpower requirements and has also yielded outstanding flexibility. These important advantages have allowed Wade to retain their production facilities in the UK rather than de-localising to a low-cost labour country.
