Work on the new “Sacmi Expo” gets under way

New plant showroom to exhibit the machines that made corporate history

Work on the establishment of a showroom within the grounds of the Sacmi Imola production plant has just begun. This new exhibition area, already dubbed the “Sacmi Expo”, will offer a tour of the machines behind Sacmi’s success, with informative display panels and photos illustrating the key stages in the Cooperative’ eighty-five year history. “The showroom will provide an open space for the hosting of exhibitions, receptions and cultural initiatives of every kind. The Sacmi Expo will be a dynamic facility with close ties to the lives of the men who built – and continue to build – the company.”
The showroom is part of a wider project designed to convert the central ground floor tunnel at Sacmi Imola and so create a new reception zone with a welcome area and an outdoor area with garden.
