Conserve Italia, where packaging means Sacmi

The Group’s packaging division to supply a plant to the Codigoro factory.

A complete plant with 7 packaging lines – built by Sacmi Packaging, of course – is currently being installed at the Conserve Italia factory in Codigoro. Conserve Italia is the leading European producer of preserved fruit and vegetable products and has recently completed a takeover of Cirio De Rica.
This important order, valued at several million Euros, includes machines for depalletizing, labelling, wrapping and wrap-around packaging, clustering, palletizing, stretch-film wrapping and the laser-guided handling of packaged pallets. The plant is expected to be fully operative by the end of the year.
