Raytec Vision sponsors the Ifpa conference

This Sacmi Group company once again underlines its commitment to the fresh-cut produce industry.

Raytec Vision, a Sacmi Group company specialised in food processing, sponsored the recent conference organized by Ifpa Europa (the international fresh-cut produce association). Held in Venice, the conference focussed on matters relating to the packaging and processing of fresh-cut produce (i.e. fresh fruit and vegetables washed, packed and placed on sale for consumption within 5-6 days). Held on 4th-5th October, the conference included a talk by Ken Silveira, president of Tanimura&Antle (A look at the fresh-cut produce industry in North America) and Jim Gorny from Vp Technology&Regulation Affairs (Innovative technologies and sales/marketing strategies).
