“Continuous innovation”, TVS chooses Sacmi twice

Two new orders for the Urbino-based company specialising in cookware production

An all-new Sacmi-made PHP 3590 hydraulic press installed in June 2012 and a PHP5000 due to be delivered at the end of the year will be making up two lines dedicated to the production of high quality frying pans. This key investment decision was made by TVS, a company that, in keeping with the “innovation everywhere” concept, is now a key international player in the production of aluminium non-stick cookware.

A long-standing customer of Sacmi – which had already supplied this Urbino-based company with two lines including PHP 5000 presses – TVS is, with this latest order, aiming to make the most of all the advantages provided by machines specifically designed to manage thick, finely coined products; all the machines offer outstanding output flexibility thanks to, for example, easy die changeovers and user-friendly setting procedures. Like those previously supplied to TVS, both presses have been equipped with an automated system for the processing, loading and unloading of products, with very short cycle times and guaranteed reliability and efficiency.

On both machines the pressing unit features auxiliary pistons that, by increasing the flow of hydraulic oil during the drawing process, ensure high productivity even with deep articles; moreover, “pre-loaded” structural parts ensure reduced on-press stress, thus extending its working life considerably. Just perfect, then, for a company like TVS, which has been working – in keeping with a philosophy of ‘continuous renewal’ - since 1968, bringing authentic Italian know-how, creativity and quality to kitchens all over the world.
