A new complete plant for Cerámica Alberdi

Continuing its longstanding partnership with Sacmi, this Argentine company is preparing to boost output potential

Once again, Cerámica Alberdi has decided to plan ahead together with Sacmi. During 2004 Sacmi will be supplying this Argentine enterprise with a completely new plant for the production of 3 million m2/year of glazed porcelain and frost-proof floor tiles per year. The agreement involves installation of a continuous MTC101 mill, an ATM065 lance-type spray drier, two PH3590 presses, two vertical EVA993 driers, two cutting-edge glazing lines and a 140.7 metre long FMS275 kiln.
Cerámica Alberdi S.A. has been in the construction ceramics business for nearly a century; today it produces glazed floor and wall tiles and extruded products.
Having grown quickly over the last decade, this Argentine company provides its customers with products of outstanding technical and aesthetic quality. That success has also been achieved thanks to solid business relations with Sacmi: it was the Imola-based Group, in fact, which supplied the continuous grinding system that allowed a switch from dry-ground red body to wet-ground low-absorbance white body – an important step forward for this Argentine company.
