A wet foot grinding machine from Sama

The linear version of the LNS 2-4 belongs to a new generation of machines

Sama is proud to present a new generation of machines: the LNS 2-4 is the new universal foot grinding machine (linear version). Using a wet grinding process with a diamond-surfaced belt, it offers perfect performance where a high-quality foot finish is required.
Thanks to a modular construction concept the machine can, depending on the customer’s needs, be equipped with 2, 3 or 4 grinding or polishing stations. The plates to be ground are conveyed to the finishing stations directly without any additional piece movement. Each station can, furthermore, be, set up for both dry and wet grinding. The standard machine model features manual article loading and unloading. Because of its linear construction the LNS 2-4 can easily be incorporated into a completely automatic production process.
Several accessories are available for completion of the plant: a transfer unit and stacking system with storage buffer; an unloading unit and a stacking station; a plate cleaning unit for removal of processing residue.
Because the LNS 2-4 can be used with wet diamond-surfaced grinding belts it is unaffected by any refractory material residue left on the pieces and so also offers considerable advantages in terms of running costs. On the latest generation of machines, in fact, the damaged area can - in the event that breaks or tears do occur on belt - be reattached to the non-diamond part, thus repairing the break and allowing the belt to continue its grinding or polishing action. Consequently, the diamond belt is used extremely efficiently, thus improving the cost/duration ratio with respect to traditional technology.
