ASD and SACMI: a new partnership focussing on quality

Two new automatic lines for the forming of kitchen articles

Founded in 1986, Zhejiang Aishida Electric Co. Ltd is now one of the world’s major producers of household articles and items for the automotive industry, with 6 production plants (3 of which are overseas) employing over 8000 people. The winner of several quality and design awards at home, it now produces, in the household articles sector alone, a staggering 40 million pieces a year, all marketed under the ASD brand.

As part of modernisation plans for its production facility in Wenling City, in Zhejiang province, aimed at meeting the challenges of an ever-more global market, ASD has established a new partnership with Sacmi, the leading international provider of industrial production plants.
This Autumn will see Sacmi supply two automatic PHP3590 presses for the production of kitchen articles, with relative moulds and de-stacking, control, lubrication, alignment and load/unload systems of aluminium alloy discs.

Sacmi, a renowned solutions provider to the household articles industry for many years, will implement plans with the support of Group companies in China, especially the spare parts and assistance centre in Nanhai.
