AVM and Gaiotto robots for Unoceramica

Sanitaryware production line fully renewed thanks to Sacmi-supplied solutions

A superb single-mould machine for high pressure casting of WCs and bidets that ensures Sacmi plays the role of world market leader. This, then, is the AVM: the machine chosen by Unoceramica of Civita Castellana (Vt, Italy) to renew its sanitaryware production line.

Outstanding quality and productivity are ensured by high pressure casting technology, and can be enhanced further by increasing line efficiency with other solutions from the Sacmi range, starting with Gaiotto-made robots for automatic piece handling. The second stage of this key order for Unoceramica, in fact, makes excellent use of such possibilities, automating existing lines by equipping them with pre-drier and automated car-type load/unload systems.

Lastly, glazing, another Gaiotto core business that has seen this Sacmi Group company, which specialises in industrial automation solutions - supply a further robot to manage this delicate stage of the production process. With installation and start-up now successfully completed, it joins two other robots previously supplied to the firm. Unoceramica, founded in 2007, specialises, through its Axa and White Stone brands, in the production of beautifully designed sanitaryware items, basins and shower trays.
