Brazilian company Icasa renewed thanks to Sacmi

Plant starts up a TWS kiln, able to reduce energy consumption significantly

Andradas, Brazil, State of Minas Gerais - home to Icasa, Brazil’s third-largest sanitaryware manufacturer in terms of pieces produced. A long-standing company that now, for the first time, has chosen to rely on Sacmi to update its machine pool with the most cutting-edge technology the market has to offer.

This new Brazilian customer has been provided with a TWS 105/300/80-G kiln: a model that has enjoyed considerable market success, it will improve Icasa’s performance considerably, especially on the consumption side, thanks to truly advanced technology. With an output rate of 90,000 pieces a month, this machine can save the company considerable amounts of energy. And that’s no small thing, given that, in June alone, Brazilian companies had to cope with gas price increases of 28%!

Started up at the end of April after testing was completed in record time, this kiln is the first step in what we hope will be a long-lasting industrial partnership. So far Icasa has declared its complete satisfaction with the kiln, stating that it chose Sacmi exactly because of its ability to guarantee the project’s success and, consequently, ensure an excellent return on their investment.
