CERAFAIR: Iran’s ceramic showcase

SACMI will be in Iran from 20 to 23 July with all its top ceramic manufacturing solutions.

From 20 to 23 July 2015 Tehran’s trade fair district will be hosting the annual CERAFAIR event, the country’s biggest ceramic and sanitaryware fair and the most important opportunity of the year for Iranian manufacturers to catch up with all the latest industry developments.

A not-to-be-missed event for which SACMI will be out in force with its tile, sanitaryware and tableware divisions as well as its local branches, once again highlighting just how crucial this market is to the company, a market that has, over the last twenty years, grown enormously in terms of volumes, quality and product range.

With regard to tiles, Sacmi will be presenting its latest developments, such as the EKO kiln (equipped with self-recovery burners to ensure the lowest-ever fuel consumption), modular MMC mills, which set the industry standard for grinding, and new ultra-high performance digital machines that are ideal whatever the product size or desired graphic effect. Then, of course, there are new end-of-line solutions, ranging from the EkoSort sorting unit to the EkoWrap and EkoRoll packaging machines. Last, but far from least, is the now-renowned Continua+, the innovative compaction technology used to manufacture very high quality ceramic slabs that is steadily winning over the industry’s top international players.
On the sanitaryware front Sacmi will be showing Iranian customers cutting-edge technological innovations in the fields of high pressure casting, robotized glazing (with offline programming and full recovery of sprayed glaze) and energy-efficient firing and drying (both REKO kilns and dryers).

Today, SACMI is, once again, looking to the Iranian market with confidence. Indeed, rather than an emerging market it may now rightly be considered a mature, high-end one, technically well prepared and on the look-out for quality technology. It is a market that Sacmi supports not just with technology and know-how, but also its local spare parts and mould subsidiaries, thus ensuring prompt customer service. More specifically, with a team of more than 50 local technicians looking after the machine pool, Sacmi can provide manufacturers with rapid-response technical support in their native language. Over the years this has meant – thanks also to the training given to customer companies’ workers - a drastic reduction in downtimes and growing customer satisfaction.
