Ceramic decoration: Sacmi and Tecnografica join forces

Agreement to lead to the development of innovative ceramic surface decoration projects

On the one hand, all the ceramic technology experience of Sacmi and In.Te.Sa. On the other, the creative potential of Tecnografica, for the development of innovative surface decoration projects. These, then, are the pillars of a new commercial agreement between Sacmi and one of the most highly renowned graphic design studios in the ceramic industry, employing 65 people in Italy and 15 in the Spanish branch.

Tecnografica is equipped with the most advanced technology for the development and production of graphics and the engraving of rollers and printing dies; moreover, it also has at its disposal, for large-scale slabs, laser technology on innovative supports. All just perfect, then, for managing graphics on the very large tiles the market continues to demand in ever-growing numbers.

The fast spread of digital printing, while allowing many companies to assert their market presence more and more, has also produced a relative flattening out in the actual graphics. Hence the need for future planning that focuses on the development of new concepts in the field of decoration and, above all, the continuous research into innovation that has always characterised both companies.

And it is the latter that constitutes the ultimate goal of this integration of Sacmi, In.te.Sa. and Tecnografica’s skills: to create added value for the customer and further promote sales of Continua lines – Sacmi-made excellence for the production of large-size tiles– as well as both wet and dry digital decoration systems.
