Ceramica Globo continues to invest with Sacmi

Ceramica Globo has reinforced its long-standing business ties with the Sacmi Group again, this time by investing in the modernisation of its glazing plant. The outstanding reliability of the GA2000 already installed at the factory made this particular investment decision an easy one.

The new GA2000 robot has been installed on the 4-position carousel. This operation completes Globo’s renewal of the existing vitreous-china glazing department, a project begun in 2015 with the installation of automatic WC glazing units and the handling robot.

To achieve the extremely high quality standards that were requested, the new robot has been equipped with an integrated mass control system and the new GDA80 spray guns. All the glazing information is incorporated in the GA2000 software programme, thus ensuring total control over all parameters in each individual programme.

Reliable, precise and efficient, the Gaiotto GA2000 robot will allow Ceramica Globo to boost automatically glazed piece quality even further, thus ensuring extremely high product quality.
