Ceramica Malpesa chooses Sacmi Heavy Clay

New 176-metre tunnel kiln to produce variously sized extruded bricks

The Sacmi Heavy Clay Division has been chosen by long-standing Spanish ceramic manufacturer Malpesa SA as official supplier. At the production plant in Bailen, in the province of JaƩn, Sacmi technicians are currently completing installation of a FTO tunnel kiln for the manufacture of extruded face bricks. Over 176 metres long, with an effective load width of 7200 mm and equipped with its own cars, the kiln will, once fully operative, have an output of over 500 tons of variously sized pieces per day.
