Ceramica Opera production lines start up with Sacmi

The company will produce tiles for major retail outlets in Germany.

Ceramica Opera has decided to enter the ceramic tile market with the full support of cutting-edge Sacmi technology. Managed by the Gagliardelli brothers, Ceramica Opera has chosen Sacmi to renew systems at its former ITS plant in Camposanto (Mo). During the first phase of reconstruction, expected to be complete by the end of the year, Sacmi will supply Ceramica Opera with PH 2890 presses, SFS dies made by Sacmi M&D and a specially designed filler box for both dry-ground and spray-dried powders. The Ceramica Opera lines will be decidedly high performance and will produce wall and floor tiles for major retail outlets, especially those on the German markets.
