Ceramika Tubadzin - Poland

The Polish Ceramic received the Teraz Polska prize

“Teraz Polska” (Poland now) is an important uncommercial Polish competition. Its aim is to promote Polish products and services country- and world-wide. There were eleven editions of the Competition and, during these years, the Promotion Emblem “Teraz Polska” got a prestige as the best Polish economy award, both among businessmen and consumers. From the outset of the Competition, there were 3,500 Polish companies participating, and 198 prized. Those who got the Promotion Emblem “Teraz Polska” succeeded on the market, or fortified market positions. On the 23rd of May 2002, Mr. Andrzej Wodzynski, a chairman of Ceramika Tubadzin, got the Teraz Polska diploma from the President of Poland Alexander Kwasniewski as an acknowledgement for Ceramika’s product – gres fine porcellanato. Ceramika Tubadzin is an example of high technology, with a complete line supplied by Sacmi for the production of porcelain stoneware and white monoporous tiles of big size. After the success obtained with the first technologic line, Ceramika Tubadzin II decided to continue its development with Sacmi group and installed a complete line for the production of trims and third firing tiles with a Sacmi press PH380, a set of moulds for trims from Sacmi Mouls&Dies and a technological line supplied by Kemac for decoration and firing. All the machines and equipment are an example of the most advanced and modern technology for the production of trims and third firing tiles. During the ceremony, after the presentation in the President’s Palace, all the guests and the President moved to The Great Theatre, where a Gala Concert took place. During the Gala Mr. Wodzynski ceremonially got a small symbolic sculpture “Teraz Polska”, which allows Ceramika Tubadzin to use this high quality emblem on its products. Ceramika Tubadzin got the promotion emblem “Teraz Polska” for a product – gres fine porcellanato (enamelled), that is consistent to all technical requirements, such as hardness, frost resistance, resistance to abrasion (PEI IV, V). These tiles can be used in sport complexes, places of high movement’s level and also in bathrooms, kitchens, terraces etc. Ceramika Tubadzin has got three great prizes and distinctions in a short term: - The Company of The Year 2000, admitted by Polish Bussiness Club; - Minister of Economy’s (Jacek Piechota) Cup; - “Teraz Polska” Promotion Emblem. - All of that testifies the statement that Ceramika Tubadzin is conceived as a producer of very high quality products and is ranked as one of the leaders of Polish business.
