Complete plants in Vietnam for extruded “cotto” tiles.

VIGLACERA Group – two plants pass final testing.

Over the last few days two new complete plants for the production of extruded “cotto” tiles have been successfully tested. One of these plants is located in the splendid bay of Ha-Long in North Vietnam, while its “twin” is in the industrial suburb of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) in South Vietnam. Each line is capable of producing 3,000 m2 of tiles per day, ranging in size from 200 x 200 to 500 x 500 mm and in thickness from 8 to 14 mm. (with no limits on technical specifications). To complement standard output, both lines can also produce a vast range of trims such as step-tread, skirting, corner inlay and strip tiles. The extreme user-friendliness and flexibility of the new line has led the two companies to accelerate their plans to double output and proceed with the purchase of the new lines ahead of the Viglacera Group’s original schedule. The machines will be shipped at the end of April 2003. Once again, satisfaction of customer expectations has been achieved in full.
