Conference: the energy efficiency of building exteriors

In-depth technical analysis on energy efficiency in the heavy clay sector

This coming 15th September Sacmi Imola will be hosting – at its main plant in Imola – an interesting convention that will focus on the theme of building exterior energy efficiency.

Organised by the Agenzia Polo Ceramico of Faenza, the conference has been arranged as part of the “Ceramic Centre Laboratory” Regional Project, the aim being to promote the activities of the Hi-Tech Network laboratories in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region that are committed to research in the heavy clay sector.

For the occasion Sacmi will be presenting the Tecnolater project, financed as part of the Region’s tender regarding Production Districts. This project will involve the establishment of a flexible pilot laboratory for the development of new construction materials, with a special focus on improving the thermal performance of brick components.

The new laboratory will be working in close collaboration with regional research facilities and will be at the disposal of all companies operating in this sector looking to innovate products and processes.
