Four thousand good reasons to choose Sacmi

Technological innovation strengthens ties between Sacmi and Ceramica Catalano

A fortunate coincidence and the perfect occasion to celebrate the long-standing business relationship between Sacmi and Ceramica Catalano recently arose to mark another essential step towards continuous innovation in sanitaryware production. On 25th April a brand new Sacmi-made resin mould, with serial number 4000, was delivered to the Catalano factory in Fabrica di Roma (Viterbo) for the production of their latest WC model.

A specially-commissioned plaque to commemorate the occasion was collected by Mario Rossi, President of the leading ceramics company, which was founded in 1967 and is today one of the top Italian quality sanitaryware manufacturers. “We felt this was an important and happy event to remember” observed Mario Aiolfi, Sacmi Area Manager, “which underlines the long-standing partnership between Sacmi and Catalano and we hope this plaque will mark also the next step in a relationship which will continue to flourish for a long time to come”.

With its substantial customer references and many decades of experience within the industry (advantages which cannot easily be claimed by other mould manufacturers), Sacmi represents the ideal partner for a company such as Catalano which focuses on constant innovation, quality and design. It is also thanks to this latest mould supply that Ceramica Catalano’s sanitaryware production plant, due start operations shortly, will be one of the most up-to-date and highly automated plants in the world.
