Golsar Fars boosts output and flexibility with Sacmi

Iranian company confirms its trust in Riedhammer kilns

Golsar Fars is the biggest Iranian sanitary ware producer located in Shiraz. It is Founded in 1993, The Iranian market leader, it was also rated, in 2008, as one of the country’s top exporters, furthermore, it has exported the most amount of pieces in Iran for 4 years in a row. Golsar Fars is going to purchase a factory with the capacity of one million pieces/year. It has now installed a new Riedhammer kiln.

This HWS 9/600/140-G FL shuttle kiln, featuring a total volume of 75 cubic metres in its 2-deck configuration, joins a kiln of the same model supplied back in 2008.

The kiln contains six 6-metre wide cars, each of which can be loaded with up to forty heavy, complex pieces such as one-piece WCs weighing up to 40 kg each.
Another key feature of this kiln is the fire-lane system, in which burners located alongside the pieces to be fired are used in conjunction with the main burners placed underneath the loading decks.
The incorporation of 2 vertical lift doors and an automatic car handling system reduces space requirements and simplifies kiln management.

Now operational, the HWS kiln provides outstanding flexibility of use: it is used by Golsar Fars for the re-firing and first firing of both the normal mix of sanitaryware articles and one-piece WCs, and is also employed to fire-fix decal transfers onto sanitary-ware.

Each 17.5 hour firing cycle (at a temperature of 1180 °C) produces up to 570 pieces.
