Ideal Standard Egypt Chooses Sacmi

The new tunnel kiln has been started up

Ideal Standard has chosen a new generation Sacmi tunnel kiln as part of its project to renovate the sanitary ware firing division in Cairo.
The kiln, equipped with a DWS 8.5/210/80-W pre-dryer, was tested during the first three months of 2010 obtaining excellent results.

In accordance with Sacmi Group’s line of thought, the kiln installed at  Ideal Standard Egypt was designed to meet the targets of reduced consumption and efficient energy use that are the foundations of thermal machines currently produced by Sacmi/Riedhammer.

This supply consolidates the business relationship spanning more than ten years between the Ideal Standard Group and Sacmi Group aimed at the modernization and cutting edge technology employed in the machines supplied to perform the various stages involved in the sanitary ware production process.
