‘Building ever-more effective teamwork between industry and vocational education’. It is with this goal in mind that that the establishment, in Lazio, of technical training centres was put forward to meet the priorities indicated by the Region of Lazio and the Minister of Education.
One of the first projects in this regard involved the “U. Midossi” facility in Civita Castellana (Viterbo), a leading “production and maintenance” training institute. A key part of the strategy, which aims to establish effective training areas, is the involvement of major, national-level players in relevant industries. Hence the institute’s request, forwarded to Sacmi, to place machines at their disposal for educational purposes so that students can receive specialised training in high pressure casting techniques and learn about the characteristics of resin moulds.
The machine donated to the institute is a high pressure DGL-WR4 ceramic item casting plant complete with mould and accessories.
The machine will officially be presented on 14th May at 11 a.m. at the “Midossi” institute: the presentation will be attended by the managers of the new training area, key policy-makers and representatives of local industry.
