Installation of new GA 2000 robot at Tangshan Huida Ceramic Group Co. Ltd.

Tangshan Huida Group chooses Sacmi and joins the “simple robotization” world.

Chinese giant Tangshan Huida Ceramic Group Co. Ltd. is present on both Chinese and international markets and has a total annual output of over 8 million pieces, making it the world’s biggest producer of porcelain sanitaryware.

Moreover, on 25th October 2011 Huida received the “Top 100 Chinese Kitchen and Bathroom Product Manufacturers and Top 10 Bathroom Product Manufacturers” award, an acknowledgement that places HUIDA at the top end of the world rankings in terms not just of quantity but also qualitative excellence.

Huida has now decided to install one of the latest generation of self-learning robots and computerised glaze delivery control (Mass Control) systems on its robotized glazing line.
It was decided to purchase the widely renowned Gaiotto series GA 2000 robot, which combines excellent enhancement of finished product quality with unrivalled simplicity of use.

One of the most distinctive features of the GA 2000 is its self-learning software. This makes it much easier, simpler and - most importantly - faster for workers in the glazing department (who are not expert robot programmers) to program the spraying patterns.

Moreover, the GA 2000 features a 90° spraying equipment rotation system so that even the most difficult to reach under-rim areas can be sprayed with ease.
The reliability and outstanding qualitative results of the GA 2000 also stem from combination with a Mass Control system which optimises glaze delivery. This system allows automatic adjustment of spraying variables such as flow rate, nozzle opening range and glaze nebulisation; in this way spraying quality is ensured because the operator no longer needs to make manual gun adjustments, which can lead to inconsistent results.
