Keramin – Belorussia

Restructuring and expansion of the sanitaryware plant

Following the successful restructuring and expansion of the sanitaryware plant, Keramin continues to invest and has now installed a second Gaiotto glazing robot. Furthermore, as from January 2003 a new AVE040 for the pressure casting of WCs and an ALS for the pressure casting of washbasins will come into service. A positive market response to the new Verona series was accompanied by increased sales of existing series in that the quality of all the company’s output has been positively influenced by the introduction of a new Sacmi kiln and technological improvements to slip and glaze formulas made by Sacmi Laboratory staff. Production of a second new high pressure series will begin by the end of March 2003 and a third is expected to be made available by the end of June 2003. Keramin’s prospects for future expansion on the sanitaryware market thus look very bright indeed - and the investment programme is therefore set to continue.
