Keramin and Sacmi signed a contract for a trims production line

The plant will produce double firing trims

The Keramin Joint Stock Company of Minsk, in Byelorussia, is set to produce double fire trims using Sacmi technology. Sacmi, in collaboration with its subsidiary Kemac, has set up a production line (currently going through start-up) that makes use of some of the most advanced technology the ceramic industry has to offer, allowing this Byelorussian company to make top-class ceramics that include bas-reliefs and trims. The supplied line features two presses, a PH380 and a PH150.
The plant also includes a full range of dies to allow production of decorated strip tiles, London pieces, pencil tiles, rounded strip tiles and mosaic 10x10 cm tiles, with structured and bas-relief patterns.
The Keramin Joint Stock Company is one of the Group’s longest standing customers so it should come as no surprise that the company’s entire range of tile, sanitaryware – and now third-firing - technologies are all “made in Sacmi”.
